This outdoor ceramic table was inspired by the Ice Squared series. An imagined landscape, at once familiar and alien. The original print was created by deeply zooming in on a satellite image of a random spot of Antarctica’s icecap where the deep blue of the ocean touches upon the white of the surrounding ice-scape.
The original artwork was created as a large floor piece, part of the installation Icesongs, La Verrière, Fondation d’enterprise Hermès, Brussels, Belgium (2010).
