A Site Responsive Installation

Danae Stratou, unveils major site-responsive artwork at The Farm Margaret River in Western Australia.

The Farm Margaret River presents the opening event for WATER TRACES – making the invisible visible, by 2023 artist in residence, Danae Stratou (Greece) on Saturday 18 November 2023 at 15:00 for an immersive experience that includes an artist-lead talk and walk from 15:30.

Developed over the course of an eight week residency at The Farm Margaret River, WATER TRACESmaking the invisible visible, explores the invisible water streams that run beneath the 80 acre property, merging into rivers above and below the earth and flowing out to sea. Using digital maps and an audio guide of field recordings, Stratou invites the public to walk these creek lines and discern the previously indiscernible.

Opening Event
Exhibition Opening will take place on Saturday 18 November, 15:00-19:00 at 343 Burnside Rd, Margaret River. Dress accordingly and bring mobile devices and headphones.
